University of Sheffield AMRC (USFD)

It has internationally acknowledged research in developing innovative and advanced technology solutions for materials-forming and metal-working and in the field of composite materials.
The University of Sheffield AMRC is a world-leading cluster of industry-focused manufacturing R&D centres and supporting facilities, including the original AMRC with Boeing, Nuclear AMRC and AMRC Training Centre.
Role in the AMOS Project
The University of Sheffield AMRC is co-ordinating the European side of the AMOS project, and carrying out research into wire additive repair through the Nuclear AMRC.
